Tamarind sauce/ Imli chutney







Ingredients:

Tamarind100 gm
Cumin seed1 tsp
Green Chili2
Garlic3 cloves
Salt1/2 tsp
Date4-5
Jaggery150 gm
Sugar (optional)200 gm


Method: 

  1. Clean and wash tamarind.soak in a water to the surface for 2-3 hours.
  2. Chop  unseeded dates. It gives the consistency to the sauce.
  3. Grind all above ingredients and boil it for few seconds.
  4. whatever you have handy use either jaggery or sugar.
